Just do what I do. High lite the link and copy and paste it. Much easier and faster plus others don't have to look for a word to click on.
Yes. Auto correct on my phone and tablet has messed me up in the past too. Tried that Scuba, but when I do it, others can't for whatever reason open the link immediately as have to copy and paste it first. A three year old knows more than I do.
