Do you tweet? These days, they respond to that quickly. It's a customer service nightmare for them, and they are very into impression management with social media.
They may not care about you privately, but the more you "squeak" eloquently, with facts, grace, and potentially a bit of humor......the more likely you will find results.

Follow AA. Tweet the experience as it happens. You never know.....
