I know they are a sponsor on this site. Anyone have any recent experience with them? I know everyone has their favorite. Just looking for specific info on this company. Thanks.

I'll answer my own question. We used them for the first time on our just completed trip. We didn't get off to a good start as it took 25 minutes for someone to show up at the airport to pick us up. When they finally got there and I complained, the driver apologized and said he was on the french side making a delivery. FWIW.....a lady that works at the airport said they are not known for their customer service. Having said that, the rest of the experience was excellent. They were finishing washing my car when we arrived at the pick up location (in Jordan Village next to Bar Code). The gentleman washing the car did an excellent job and insisted on loading all our luggage. The car itself was exactly what we reserved and had just enough dings but not too many. Everything worked and we had no issues during the 2 1/2 weeks of use. The return was quick and efficient and they had us at the airport within 15 minutes. They are a small outfit with a limited number of vehicles but other than the initial pickup snafu at the airport, they were as good or better than most we have used in our 26 years of traveling to the island. I realize that alone is enough for many to not consider them and I understand that. But given the rate I was paying and the overall experience, I myself would give them another opportunity.

a question, i notice they add a small drop-off fee if choosing the airport as the return location...but it sounds like you may have returned the car to their Jordan Village office, and then they gave you a ride to the airport...were you charged any fee for this?

The drop off fees were included in my quoted price so there wasn't anything extra. I didn't want to worry about trying to meet them at the airport so I returned to their office at Jordan Village. Worked for me.

...which is TOTALLY irrelevant to this post, what another car rental place does.

even with the airport drop-off fee, their total price is substantially less than other places i looked at....much less than Hertz, which we've used before, but will not be doing so next trip

and are you sure Hertz doesn't charge “extra”?...i looked at past invoices from them, and there is a $20 "Concession RT" line item, which i'm pretty sure is related to doing business at the airport, and may not apply if picking-up and/or dropping off at a location other than than the airport....regardless, as far as i'm concerned, these individual fees are all irrelevant, as i just look at the total price when comparing rental companies

back to NextLevel...when picking the drop-off location, i chose their Jordan Village office since we'll be staying in Cupecoy, and was not quoted a fee, but i'm not sure if they'll provide a ride to the airport without a fee

IslandBoi - Would you consider telling us what you are paying per week for your rental through NextLevel? Size of car and weekly price, plus insurances?

The quote for my recent 2 week 5 day trip was well over $100 less than any other quote I received.

What about the liability as most cards don't cover it?
