Anyone know what type/size of ferry Smiths Ferry typically uses for Charlotte Amalie to Road Town? The forecast tomorrow afternoon looks like it could be rough. Somewhat dreading it.

The forecast looks fine tomorrow. Smiths will use the Bomba Charger or borrow a slightly bigger boat depending on loads. The boat they borrow/charter has a upper deck the charger does not.

Thank you! Been awhile since I've been on the ferry, and this time will be with a 7 year old, so hoping for an enjoyable experience! Would love to have one where we can sit outside but sounds like it will be luck of the draw. Appreciate the response.

You can call Smiths and ask in the morning and they will tell you which boat.
