The pictures from our January trip are now up, well most of them. I've got almost 600 posted so far. I'm still finding a few odd ones here and there. I'm still adding a few and taking a few out but with 600 pics who's gonna notice huh? If you're not familar with webshots please note that each album has multiple pages.

The first album is from Jan. 8th 2005. It covers our day on St. Thomas, Coral World, Molly Malone's, some shots from Secret Harbour and ending the day at Duffy's Love Shack. Had a blast, a very memorable day.

The second album is from Jan. 9th and 10th. The 9th was a rather rainy day, also spent on St Thomas. We spent some time in Charlotte Amalie, at Paradise Point, Bolongo and Iggies. There are few more shots from Secret Harbour here too. If all you've seen of St. Thomas was from a taxi, airport to the ferry dock, you are really cheating yourself. We boarded our Charter in Red Hook at noon on the 10th and headed for Great Harbor on Jost. We had planned on taking a helocoptour tour of the BVI on the 9th but it wasn't to be, the rains came and sometimes very heavy.

The next album we start out at Great Harbor on Jost, move over to White Bay and the SDB, move on to Sandy Spit then to CGB for the night.

The fourth album covers from CGB to West End and on to The Bight at Norman Island. If any of you know who he is, Big Head Todd was on the Star Clipper with fans and they ran their tender back and forth to the Willy T all night. For what it's worth I now have a picture of Big Head Todd himself but I couldn't give you the name of one of his songs.

The fifth album is from Jan. 13th and 14th. It starts out with snorkeling at The Caves, head to The Indians and anchor at Little Harbor on Peter Island. The next morning we're off to Cooper Island <not Machoneel Bay, we explored a rocky beach on SE side> then Marina Cay for our evening anchorage. During this portion of the trip we finally started to dry out, LOTS of rain up till now , more than we've ever seen in 6 January trips. Hey, at least it was warm right? We rocked Marina Cay, Michael Beans will remember us and our TTOL flag is now hanging in the bar there.

In the sixth album we head from Marina Cay to Cam Bay on Great Camanoe then on to Virgin Gorda for the night. Saw some of the best snorkeling I'd seen anywhere at a dive site near the Marina Cay anchorage. We taxied over to The Baths in the afternoon and had dinner at Saba Rock in the evening.

The seventh album covers the sail to Anegada and our day there. We rented a car, saw the Iguana headstart project, got lost and finished off the day at Cow Wreck Beach Bar. Another wonderful day and Alex will probably not forget our visit to Cow Wreck any time soom either.

The eighth album is our trip from Anegada back to the Bight via The Dogs. The winds died off completely and had to motor the entire day. Up till now we had seen several days with wind gusts of 30+kts. Most of the pictures from this night at the Willy T won't be posted so don't ask.

The final day we motored to Road Harbor and caught the fast ferry back to Charlotte Amalie through Customs and got checked in at Best Western Emerald Beach. Taxied to The Greenhouse to top off our last night with all drinks 2 for 1. What a way to end the trip, whew! hehe. This portion of the trip I'll be posting in the next few days. All in all it was a wonderful adventure, and it was an adventure. A total of 5, yes 5, T-Shirts were earned by my traveling companions. I learned that fish are harder than hell to take a picture of, I knew that already but the fish really drove the point home this trip. While snorkeling I watched a 6ft shark swim by me 15ft away. By the time I remembered to take a picture he was gone. The pretty little fish just move before you snap the shutter so I ended up with alot of pictures of underwater rocks.

Here are a few memorable quotes from the trip. There are some other good quotes but the only ones I can think of right now can't be posted. May post some more when I can get my hands on my notes.

"Is there rum in this?" She quit asking after a while.

"I'm not going anywhere till I get my small mexicans!" by me during 2for1 drink night at the Greenhouse STT while waiting for an order of Mexi Skins

"Foxy, tell-em how much you love me Foxy, tell-em. Tell-em how we met, tell-em Foxy, tell-em!
