If it's above ground level/pool level - grab it and be happy. You will be when you get there. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

wilsonck said: Parking is $25/week and is located under La Terrasse. Wifi is $50 a week. I do have to correct myself. It is $30/week for parking. I paid $25 the first time I stayed there because we only had 6 nights and they offered to lower the parking charge, without me asking.

Canadian.....we have owned at LaPlage for over twenty years. The Trattoria's name is Pizza Pasta. It is very good and reasonably priced Italian. Also, the biggest DON"T MISS is Le Moulen Fou. The best restaurant on the Dutch side!!! Fig is now open right across the street from LaPlage, and it also was very good. The chinese place that was talked about is gone. Bajatsu, is another great place to dine, right in Maho. The only two lousy places to dine in my opinion around Maho is the sports bar on the second floor across from the casino...i think it is called ascot, or something like that.... and on the first floor of the LaTerrace shops....the pizzeria, casual dining place is HORRIBLE. You will love LaPlage...the staff is wonderful, the place is always clean as a whistle...and the pool area and beach right there are great. (when the beach is there). As already stated, parking and wifi are the only addons, and the typical timeshare tax of 50/week. I am not sure if that is only passed on to owners, or that exchanges in also get taxed.

I think you can still use the gym at the Sonesta, next door. They want a white wrist band or some such. Be careful though, as Sonesta has had an outbreak of Noro virus recently

I am pretty sure Winnie's is still open. I will know by Friday when I get there. And exchanges also have to pay the timeshare tax as well.
