Not a BVI resident, never will be, but since 1981 my wife and I have spent a bit more than 4 years total in the BVI. Usually twice yearly. Only time missed was the end of the Irma year. We have been every month except December. The rain and wind of the winter. The rain and heat of the summer. The heat and humidity of hurricane season. Sailed during 37 of our trips and most sailing done August/September. My favorite wind is during that period. Only moved once for an approaching hurricane-David- and he went north. So from a tourist point of view. The BVI is spectacular any time of year. So when they reopen the water, land, and people will still be EPIC no matter what time of year. For me “ off season” only means I have more room to roam.
