This is a wonderful thread and actually encouraged me to join and not just lurk.

My wife and I (58 and 52) will bareboat in the BVI for the first time in April Finally got the last kid off to college and now looking forward to the next chapter.

We owned a lovely Najad 36 for 5 years when we lived in Sweden 2001 - 2006 but unfortunately have been landlocked since and raising kids. Time to sail once again.
