I would have to agree that the consistency is probably not going to be nearly what it is if you just cook the rice, but the convenience factor would be great! Although truthfully I fairly often cook up a fairly large pot of rice and serve it for a couple of days, so that is another option, to just cook some rice the day before. When I do crockpot meals, I usually do it on days that I want to just come home and eat, without any additional cooking required.
