We marinate 2 to 2.5 lbs of flank steak for 24 to 48 hours in:
1/2 C soy sauce
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1/2 C olive oil
1/4 C white granulated sugar, definitely ok to use dark brown sugar instead
3 green onions (scallions) chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
