First trip to SXM on a cruise on Carnival Celebration, 1987. We never left Front Street!! Went to Club Orient for the first time I think in 1989, not sure which ship we were on. Several cruises to SXM after that, stayed on island for the first time in February 1995, 7 months prior to Luis, stayed at Green Cay Villas. Many, many more trips since then, both on cruises and more recently, just staying on island. Stayed at a couple dozen different places all over the island over the years. Our needs have changed over the years. Now, Beachside Villas has everything we want. ...EXCEPT this next trip we'll be doing a private villa, for the first time NOT staying at BSV in a while. We've been to pretty much every island in the Caribbean, many of them multiple times on cruises. No place has our heart like SXM.
