I did not lose my view, but my BIL did. They screwed me with the excessive Special Assessment. They built the new building just as the world was crashing in 2007/08 and they were unsold for a while. Their bills came due and they had to get the money from somewhere. I finally just signed it back over to them. No tears from me though. I had it about 15 years and got my money's worth. Just wasn't paying those fees.
