A bareboat without skipper has the same charter agreement as one where you hire a skipper...so still puts the ultimate responsibility on you as the signer. In the past I haven't seen any carveouts for a scenario where you hire a skipper. Happy to be corrected on this if I'm wrong! You may want to consider a crewed, captain only yacht next time.
