Although Fiji is now a democracy, the last military coup was in 2006 so it can't really be regarded as a stable place to do business. Having said that, it is a wonderful place to visit ( I spent several weeks there, on my own boat, back in 2011) and there is a big cruising community. It is particularly popular with Australians and New Zealander's so you might find more info if you can find travel boards from those two countries. Mike http://sailingjeannius.blogspot.com
