Not sure I understood what Abouis was saying. Bottom line is that CGB's dinghy dock is dangerous and needs repair. It really doesn't matter what the sea conditions are, the dock must remain safe. CGB is a wonderful place to visit, be it by land or sea, it is very desirable to many visitors. There should be no debate over the repairs.
