The very first time we went to Club Orient for the day (circa 1987), I had to use the ladies room. I was really freaked out because I couldn't figure out which one was which, as there was no sign!

Ok ... so about heading down in Oct for our 3rd trip and looking for new places Several folks on the thread mention LaGalion but sort of in the past. Are there paths there now from Orient and if so, is it worth the walk or visit? Looks like we could drive there past the Butterly Farm.

Years ago we took the small catamaran ride out to Green Key for the day. They dropped us off and would pick us up a few hours later. We brought a cooler with subs and beer and put a little sheet out on the little beach to lay on. When we started to eat our subs, we heard this noise behind us. It was like clap clap clap. When we turned around, there were so many crabs climbing down our way drawn by the smell of the food!!!! OMG, it was crazy!!!, We threw a part of a sub so far to the end of the beach area to draw them over, and quickly ate our food. That was 20+ years ago!

You can walk through the rock wall behind Papagayo and there are some nice scenic walking paths that head towards Le Galion. I'm thinking you can get there, as the couple of clothed people seemed to be coming from that direction, and there was some sort of extreme exercise equipment near the parking lot that someone was using. P/S the beach looked nice, and extremely calm waters.

RonDon said: Speaking of Orient, has anyone seen the Legend lately? He must be ancient by now. I remember seeing him from a distance standing up reading a book and wondered why he didn't relax and sit. Then when I got closer I realized he was showing off. Funny, but I seem to recall that in every picture I've seen of him, he has the same book. Maybe he really doesn't read it, just uses it for shade?

Is the book even right-side up?

One of the first times I was on OB (textile portion), I saw two fellows walking down the beach wearing nothing but a mask and snorkel on their heads and carrying a set of fins. I doubt I would have even noticed them if it hadn't been for that!
