SXMBND--very valid points. We looked at putting an awning on our back deck last fall, didn't really have the money to do it, and now the price for materials alone is up close to 50%...
It's that way with everything. I just don't understand anyone getting upset that a price isn't held for almost a year in this day and age. How many people get a quote, with zero consideration paid, and find a better deal along the way and just walk away?? If a non-refundable deposit were required, then I would expect the vendor to honor the price and terms.
