Thanks, Ellen, but I’ve already been down that path.

Jet Blue maintains that under a typical cancellation of flight BY THE AIRLINE that would be the case but since this flight was cancelled by the island, they maintain that rule doesn’t apply.

I booked through JB and I’ve actually spoken to a supervisor with not much success. The only concession they will make is to refund to my credit card IF I can provide them with a record locator number of someone who has already gotten that done, I read on line somewhere last week where a poster did just that but I can’t remember where I saw it and reading through posts got old after about an hour with no success.

But again, thank you and your TA friend for the suggestion.
